You don't have to feed it, it doesn't need water, and you don't have to remember it. All it does is look at you lovingly with its googly eyes. A pet rock. This is the fad that rocked the 70's. You could find a pet rock anywhere you went. They were in offices, and classrooms, churches and bedrooms, stores and more. No one was without a pet rock.
Platform shoes define the 70's. They are big, loud and totally groovy. Everyone wore platforms, if you didn't you were a square. Platforms came in many shapes, styles, and sizes. Platform shoes ranged from 1" to 6". They came in lace up shoes, sandals, boots, clogs, loafers and so many other different styles. Platform shoes were functional and funkadelic. They gave people the confidence to go out in their ultra-crazy, ultra-tight jumpsuits, and the ability to see past the big hair!
